Finn's first crawl

Does this count as crawling?

I've been trying to get the blogger video to work, but have been unsuccessful. So here is the link to the short video clip on youtube of Finn's first crawl attempt.

This first crawl was on May 18, his 8 month birthday! Since then he has improved steadily everyday. (It's only been 4 days!) He scoots on his tummy all over the place! Even today I saw him pushing with his knees, instead of pushing with his toes. He is so close to a real crawl!!

Tiny Dancers

Annabelle and Grace's dance recital was this past weekend. Annabelle did a ballet routine to "When Somebody Loves You" (this song is in Toy Story 2 with Jesse the cowgirl). She also did a tap dance to "Rockin' Robin." Annabelle does her best to get each little hand curve, toe point and head tilt perfect.

Grace did a creative dance/ballet routine to "Splish Splash." She was all smiles up there!

They take dance at the Rec Center but it is organized through "Attitudes in Dance."

Baseball

Jonah and Grace play tee-ball on the same team. I love Jonah's faces he makes constantly. Almost all the pictures my dad took had a funny face.

Grace dances across the plate. Or she stops and brushes it off before stepping on it.
Annabelle braved being the only girl on her rookie baseball team.

At the Pond

Finn at 7 months

Finn started rolling back and forth and sitting up all in the same week. This was the week of April 19. By now he can sit for ten minutes straight. He's had lots of practice. He is eating more solid foods - crackers and bits of bread. When he gets excited he waves his arms and kicks his legs. If you shake his head at you he will shake his head back. He is wearing 12 month clothes. He is so fun to have around!
