Jonah's baptism day!

We are very glad so many of our family could join us on this special occasion.

Grandpa Arne gave the talk on baptism. Justus talked on the Holy Ghost.

Birthdays

Grace's friends came over in the morning for a Littlest Pet Shop party! We acted out animals, played a cake walk with LPS pictures, played pin the tail on the LPS horse.

 She got a fun fusion bead kit and the kids all worked on that for hours. Then Grandma and Grandpa came, bringing presents for all! Grace got an American Girl Doll! Her name is Marie-Grace! Justus gave her a butterfly necklace and a box of candy, just as she requested.

 Finn got a race car set and he loves it!!

 G&G took us all out to eat to celebrate the birthdays!

The next day we made a special cake for Finn with a tractor on it. Jonah and Annabelle helped decorate it. They also helped blow out the candles. Finn enjoyed using the tractor to squish the cake (after he had eaten all the frosting off). We couldn't wait until present time, but Finn still isn't sure what presents are... that he needs to open them to find the prize.

Nauvoo

Jennifer, Sungti and Oliver, Joe, Miriam and Hailey, Joseph, Grandpa Slaugh all met at Nauvoo. We rented a condo. We spent a couple days touring family history sites in Nauvoo and Carthage.

 The kids loved dressing up and playing pioneer games.

 They were also attracted to the family statues near the visitor's center. So, so cute!

 These kids were excited to physically touch the temple.

Throwing rocks into the Mississippi River is always fun.
