Finneas turned 5! He invited Preston, Anthony (both neighbors), Gavin and Ethan Cheney. The boys all came in their pajamas and brought pillows and stuffed animals. They played, watched some of The Lego Movie, ate cake and ice cream, and opened presents. Perfect party!
We chose a night when the family was all together before the boys left for NY to open family presents. Grace got clothes, a reading lamp, a box of candy (perfect since she has a two-week period here with no appliance in her mouth and she is allowed to eat chewy candy), and lego friends. Finn got a homemade shark necklace and homemade numchucks made out of duck tape, both from Jonah. Also legos, a race track toy, a travel neck pillow for his trip tomorrow.
The boys left Sept 18, on Finn's birthday, for NY. On Grace's birthday, Sept 19, we first went to the ward BBQ. Then Grace had some friends over for a slumber party! They came in pajamas and played for a bit. They had cake and ice cream, opened presents, then we set out sleeping bags and pillows and blankets all in the family room. 8 girls all together!

The next morning we had breakfast and headed to the pool.
Ezra's birthday was Sept 23. We gave him a few presents (clothes, a baseball case, Indiana Jones DVDs, Finn's toys from Finn so they can play together), and had chocolate mint cake and ice cream. This kids all made cards for Daddy.
I forgot to mention that earlier in the month, Ezra had taken Grace on a very special birthday outing. He booked a flight for Grace on a small airplane. It only fit the pilot and one passenger, so Ezra didn't even get to go up with her. Grace was not scared or nervous at all. She was thrilled! She took Ezra's phone to take pictures from the plane. She even got to fly the plane for a bit!
