We Matched!

Last night I explained to the kids what our match day would be like - going up to see Daddy, getting a letter there that tells us where Dad will work for the next four years and where our family will go. Annabelle said she wanted the letter to say California. Grace said she wanted the letter to say Grandma's House. Jonah said going to read a letter did not sound very exciting.

This is all of us at the medical school, enjoying a light snack while waiting for the envelopes to be passed out.
Still waiting, the kids were getting antsy. But oh so cute to everyone there.
Finally they passed out the envelopes to each 4th year med student. Jonah opened ours. Annabelle read it. I am pointing to where it says: University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Yeah! Ezra gets to stay and work here at the hospital! We get to stay in Iowa!! We kind of, mostly knew we'd get to stay here, but it is nice to finally know for sure. We are excited! Grace is the only one disappointed. She wanted to move to Grandma's house.

From what you could tell, did everyone get what they wanted, or were there some disappointed students?

Awesome! Congrats to you guys! I am glad you do not have to worry about moving! Grandma's house would've been a close second:)
