Thanksgiving Dinner prep. Finn is a great helper. And Grandpa Slaugh is great at letting little ones help in the kitchen.
Ezra and Jonah ran a 5K this morning! Great job, boys! I guess Jonah earned the right to eat this huge turkey leg!
Super yummy food! Jennifer cooked real green bean casserole, cauliflower casserole, and perfect rolls. Sungti made sweet sweet potatoes and perfect gravy.
After naps, my kids and G&G drove over to visit Grandma Marge and Loyd. Loyd still has pain sitting, even driving, so they don't go out much at all.
My mom took Jennifer and I out to shop and out to breakfast. We picked up the rest of the crew and headed out to Ozawkie, me Joe and Joseph also. We had our traditional hot dog and marshmallow roast and had fun visiting.
Finn and Oliver were cute with similar dinosaur hats, playing with each other in the grass.
The next morning we had Grandpa's special bear's porridge for breakfast. Grandma had us play "clean and ice cream." we drew names for partners and which room to clean. Then of course we had ice cream after. We packed up, said good bye, and drove back home.
