Recitals

I don't have any still photos of the guitar and piano recitals. Tuesday night Grace performed "Ode to Joy" and "We Are Never Getting Back Together," and Jonah performed "Easy Feeling" and a stunning "Blackbird." This was Grace's very first guitar recital! She did great! Jonah plays very well for his age. 

Friday Grandma Slaugh, Grandma Susan, and Grandpa Arne came for the weekend.

Friday night was the piano recital. Olivia played Eensie Weensie Spider, Ode to Joy, and Tucker. Jonah played Big Rock Candy Mountain and Jazzy Johny. Grace played Haiku and Ocean Ocean. Annabelle as the grand finale with Frozen's Let It Go! I love watching them perform! We squeezed in Grace's baseball game at the end of the day.

Saturday was the dance recitals. At the 10am recital Grace did a hip hop number to Despicable Me. Olivia's ballet number was to Do Re Mi. She tap danced to Trashin' the Camp from Tarzan. So, so cute!! We came home for lunch and visiting, and a quick nap. Then back over for the next performance. This time we came in at intermission. Annabelle's hip hop class did Space Jam, and they did a ripple effect like a snake. Cool! After dinner Annabelle had to go back over for one more performance. Long day.
