After getting work done, we drove to Cedar Rapids to visit the Science Center. We've never been there. It was much smaller than I expected. But we had fun exploring all the science stations.
Then we found a park. It had a large play structure, lots of trees and grass, a splash pad, a walking trail all around it, and bordered by a creek. What more could a child want?
We stayed until Ezra got off work, then met him at a restaurant. Fun, fun day!
