Since the boys had a big adventure in Alaska, and have another one coming up in NY, the girls decided they needed an excursion of their own. We are doing it girl's style: at the Mall of America!
Wow, this mall is big! You can see all four floor from here. Where to begin?
Lego store:
We browsed a bit. Then we entered the aquarium. We LOVED learning about and seeing the aquatic life!

Dinner at Cafe Rio. Super awesome jungle atmosphere. We even experienced a thunderstorm in the middle of dinner. We had an exploding volcano for dessert!
Back at the hotel we did a fashion show, trying on all our new clothes!
The next morning we relaxed in our hotel. As we were getting ready to go, we were surprised by a visit from Lizz and her girls! More great girls to join in the fun!!

Our second day at the mall we visited the American Girl Doll store, Build-a-Bear store, and a few more.
Then we hit the rides! An amusement park is in the middle of the mall with lots of roller coasters!
The girls were nervous about any ride that looked like it went too fast or upside down. But we found several that were just right.
The three big girls went on the twisty-upside-down ride to recapture our youth! So, so fun!
And nobody needs to know that we closed our eyes on the first big rise and fall, singing Baa Baa Black Sheep to keep ourselves from freaking out!
Girls used their hard-earned money to buy matching purses.
What a great girls trip! Let's do this again soon!!
