After school we headed to Des Moines. Ezra is still in his 4 weeks of work in Des Moines. Ezra, Annabelle, Jonah and Grace ran a 5K!
Jonah is always up for a long race. He likes them. Annabelle says her favorite sport is running, but is a little slow to warm up to the idea of a long race (kind of like her mother:)
Grace usually says No Thanks, but Annabelle talked her into it this time!

Jonah zoomed in! He really sprinted to the finish line.
Annabelle and Grace ran slowly together. Ezra joined them after he finished. Annabelle started to speed up here at the end. You go girl!

When Ezra finished his, he ran backwards on the course until he met up with the girls. Grace finished 40:29, Annabelle 40:16. Jonah sure sprinted across the finish line 32:07.

Random day this month, Sept 9, 2012: Jonah dressed in a Roman soldier costume as a king. Olivia put on a pink ballet costume and lady bug cape to be a princess. Grace and Annabelle were servants in black skirts and aprons. They were cute playing together. For FHE, the kids asked to clean together, then play "Don't Eat Pete!" This is a new favorite game.
