Soccer

September 22, 2012: Very cold morning for soccer games. Jonah, Annabelle and Grace all played very well. They all scored at least three goals!

The rest of us huddled in blankets to keep from freezing. The wind was biting us. Olivia did not have shoes; only flip flops. I had to give her my socks.

Olivia to Finn: "My name is not Itha!"
Finn: Yes it is.
Olivia: My name is O-LI-VI-A!
Finn: It not Livia; it is Itha!

October 6: Soccer games were freezing again, but the kids played very well again. They love it.
Jonah went to a cub scout Cubaree from noon to 7:30. Archery, bottle rockets, fishing, mythbusters, matchbox car racing, campfire closing ceremony with Indians... he loved it!
In General Conference, President Monson announced that missionaries can now serve at age 18, and sisters at age 19! How exciting! Talks today were wonderful.

October 7: General Conference again. It is wonderful to feel prompted on things to work on. After dinner we frosted cupcakes and took them to a few neighbors and pretended to be missionaries. We told them we were Mormon and we each said one thing we believe in.
